Beginning Spanish Lessons 10 of 40 The Best Way To Learn Spanish

What Is The Best Way To Learn Spanish – Beginner Learning Spanish Online Course
The United Nations recognizes Spanish as one of its six official languages. Learning Spanish can help a person in many ways, as it is a world wide recognized language. The question is on deciding what the best way to learn Spanish is for each individual person.
Spanish used to be called Castilian. Three hundred and fifty million people speak it the world over. And that is as a native tongue, not a second one they’ve picked up over time. Ten percent of people living in the United States have a Hispanic background.
Spanish is a language worth learning for many reasons. As many reasons as there are, there are also ways to learn it. Some would say the best way to learn Spanish might be an immersion course. This is a course that people sign up for that lets them move to a country that speaks the language in question. Speaking the language every day helps to make learning it easier.
Classes, teachers and tutors also help people learn new languages. Because hearing someone speak is the best way to learn Spanish, classes can be helpful and give a student the opportunity to listen to the language. People who speak Spanish are also great resources, as they usually enjoy helping someone learn.
Having many resources available is a good idea when learning any new language. Vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and even the alphabet are all part of learning Spanish. And because the best way to learn Spanish is to hear it spoken, there are other resources people often neglect. Listening to the news in Spanish and watching Spanish Movies with English subtitles can help. Practicing Spanish several times a day in short moments helps the brain retain the language easier.
Spanish is a language spoken all over the world. Learning Spanish means having new job opportunities arise, and can make traveling and vacations that much more enjoyable. The best way to learn Spanish is to speak it after all, so while learning it in American classrooms can have its merit, traveling to a Spanish Speaking country may be best.

What is the best way to learn Spanish via computer?
Are there websites you’d recommend for learning Spanish? Also, I’ve seen some “learn Spanish” CD ROMs, but I don’t know which are best.
I loved the Rocket Spanish program, Learning Spanish Like Crazy, and Visual Spanish, Shortcut To Spanish, and Synergy Spanish. I’ve used all these programs as they all teach using different methods and what I had trouble w/ in one program, I’d easily pick up in another. They are all inexpensive- reasonably priced. Rocket Spanish being my favorite.
I also purchased Think Spanish magazine which is EXPENSIVE but I really really got a lot out of it. I also bought a Spanish tabloid every so often at the grocery store and watch Spanish TV.
Another thing that helped me was FLASH CARDS!! At my age, flash cards are a great way to learn. I have the Vis-Ed set, and Spanish Piccards, and the Language Express cards. All EXCELLENT!
What I’ve learned in my experience is that not all of the “expensive” programs are the best. I spent about $70 or less on Rocket Spanish and it was AMAZING. It also all depends on your learning style. I’ve heard rave reviews of Rosetta Stone. I tried their online version and was nothing but confused as it did not match my personal learning style.
Also, I became VERY frustrated trying to learn Spanish the old fashioned way. I could careless about all the ins and outs of Spanish Grammar. So, I geared my learning toward Spanish Conversation courses, which you “intuitively” pick up the grammar instead of focusing on the grammar.
Good luck to you!!!
Rocket Language is arguably the top language software developer in the world. Only Rosetta Stone can offer any argument to this fact. Both products have loyal followings, but offer radically different methods on how to Learn To Speak Spanish. Their price tags are also radically different, which could make a difference to a student on a budget..... Click here to read the rest of the article: Spanish For Beginners
