How much does a community college Spanish Professor earns in California?
I would really appreciate answers from teachers or someone who really knows about this.
How much does a community college Spanish professor makes in California?
I’ve been told by some teachers that the colleges pay per hour…
Also what benefits do they receive?
Any information about this will be appreciated.
Thanks. =]
College professors are not paid by the hour. Full-time professors get a yearly salary, adjuncts get paid by the class. A language professor would be paid in the 40k – 80k range depending on their credentials (PhD? masters?), how long they’ve been teaching, what level they’ve reached (assistant, associate, tenure), and the school itself. Adjuncts typically make about 2k per class, which works out to 20k a year without benefits if you’re teaching full-time.
Rocket Language is arguably the top language software developer in the world. Only Rosetta Stone can offer any argument to this fact. Both products have loyal followings, but offer radically different methods on how to Learn To Speak Spanish. Their price tags are also radically different, which could make a difference to a student on a budget..... Click here to read the rest of the article: Spanish For Beginners
