Rocket Language Spanish – Will it Actually Work?
Rocket Spanish is an on-line Spanish Learning system. Does it really work?
WHAT ARE THE COMPONENTS OF THE SYSTEM?
Rocket Spanish is a software system for download or as a set of CDs. The system has videos, software, and special audio recordings. In addition, you get access to the “Learning Lounge” where you can test your skills, and connect with other students and instructors.
The basic approach is to teach Spanish by Visual Association. Visual association is how you learned your first language. You HEARD a word and SAW its meaning at the same time. In this way you effortlessly and swiftly learned the meanings of words. Rocket Spanish tries to replicate the process with the use of audio, video, and specially designed software.
DOES IT REALLY WORK?
Rocket Spanish is a powerful way to Learn Spanish, IF you are sincere and willing to put in time on a regular basis. Ideally, you should try to view the material for some time everyday (at least 30 min – 1 hr a day). The lessons are engineered to build on one another. Therefore, being consistent is very important.
Picking up a language is much like learning to ride a bike. For the first little while you might feel that you aren’t getting anywhere. If you persist, however, you will hit a point when things suddenly come together. You will find yourself creating sentences without effort and picking up most of the words in the audio recordings.
From there you can go on to add more vocabulary and more advanced grammar.
IS THIS THE BEST SYSTEM FOR EVERY ONE?
Some students find it hard to focus unless there is some outside pressure such as an upcoming “exam” or an instructor checking their “homework”.
Rocket Spanish is a do it yourself program. It is very powerful but you must provide the follow-through yourself
If you feel you might need the pressure of a classroom setting in order to take action, consider a class at a local college. Keep in mind that a class will cost much more and can take longer.
If you are sincere about pick up the Spanish language and can put aside some time every day, Rocket Spanish can get you Speaking Spanish in 8-10 weeks.

What does it take to require Spanish Language TV broadcasters to have SAP or Closed Captioning in English?
Many USA based shows provide English closed captioning and some offer Spanish Language captioning. Many shows offer SAP in Spanish and some offer other languages. However, on Spanish language TV, I have only seen closed captioning in Spanish. Shouldn’t they too be required to offer the same in a Fair or Equal Access environment? How would or could this be done?
you’re correct but that would be considered a racist statement and English captions will never happen
Rocket Language is arguably the top language software developer in the world. Only Rosetta Stone can offer any argument to this fact. Both products have loyal followings, but offer radically different methods on how to Learn To Speak Spanish. Their price tags are also radically different, which could make a difference to a student on a budget..... Click here to read the rest of the article: Spanish For Beginners
