Five Great Tips to Help You Learn Spanish
If you’re determined To Learn Spanish, then before you start, there are some useful and important things you need to know before you begin. Following these five tips for Learning Spanish and success will not only help you through the process, but make it fun as well.
1. Setting up a reasonable goal first is an important factor when you start to study Spanish Online. The reason why this is important is because you need to organize your time, and have a good idea of what level you want to reach and how much time you have to reach it. If you don’t set these goals from the start, then you run the risk of not really learning anything at all, and worst of all, getting frustrated.
2. Another important consideration for learning Spanish is where you are actually studying. It’s highly critical that you decide on which activities you do where. For example, you may be using your home computer to do some of the work, but do not forget that your car stereo and television with a DVD player are some of your best assets, because these things can help you reinforce what it is you’re learning from your online work. If you make sure that you study the correct way, then you should not have any problems.
3. Sitting down and studying grammar for hours a day in order to learn Spanish is something that you do not have to do. All you really need to do is be consistent with how much you are studying, and make sure that you are actually using your new found language skills.
4. Instead of complicating your language study efforts by trying to memorize each and every word and living with a dictionary, which by the way is the single most popular way to loose interest really fast, try it this way: concentrate on always recognizing key words in a spoken conversation without translating every word and then attempt to catch the main idea of what is being said. In fact, if you take that dictionary and hide it for a bit, then you will find that you begin to understand larger concepts of a conversation or reading, which in the long run will make your language acquisition quicker.
5. Have you thought about where you might practice speaking? After all, it is like trying to get stronger. Once you start at the gym you should not stop. You build your muscles because you are using them constantly. Once you stop, they atrophy. It is the same with language learning. You must use the language. It’s not as difficult as you might think. What you need to do is find some people who you can practice with. One of the best places to do this in is a neighborhood store that is located in a Spanish Speaking section of town, or for example, check with a local college for discussion groups which may exist filled with people who are in the same exact situation. It is also a great way to meet new friends.
So if you really want to learn Spanish, follow these tips to and you will find that learning the language, Spanish or any other, a breeze and most importantly a fun experience.

i’m 67 years old and would like to learn Spanish. could someone recommend a dvd to learn. i will be trying?
to learn by my self.. also, does it help to watch spanish tv? thank you
I’d have to say RosettaStone, named after the tri-language tablet discovered around a century ago, and finally allowed ancient Egyptian herioglyphs to be translated (mainly thanks to the Greek third).
(Those wacky Greeks!)
Totally curious now, though:
Why now, not 30-40 years ago, do want to learn Spanish?
(Keeping in mind my Grandmother earned her Bachelor’s degree at 65, and ran a Nursing Home for around a decade, not being disrespectful, just curious)
Rocket Language is arguably the top language software developer in the world. Only Rosetta Stone can offer any argument to this fact. Both products have loyal followings, but offer radically different methods on how to Learn To Speak Spanish. Their price tags are also radically different, which could make a difference to a student on a budget..... Click here to read the rest of the article: Spanish For Beginners
