Thoughts on Univision’s Spanish presidential debate?
I was reading the Miami Herald online this morning and I was very upset with what many other readers posted as comments.
Im very excited about this debate.
Everyone has the right to know exactly what is going on around them. Many people feel that if you live in America you should know english but thats easier said than done. These people fail to realize that many hispanics dont have the time or opportunity to learn because they are always working. When I say working I dont mean 9-5…im talking long hard hours..living here isn’t free by any means…learning another language isnt a simple task.
One thing is for sure these people who dont know english wish they did. Its not easy living in a place where something as simple as ordering a hot dog is a difficult task.
To sum it all up..im glad this debate will be taking place…but everyone is entitled to their own thoughts no matter how much I may disagree ..so let me know what you think 
Is pandering to Hispanics in a very disgusting way. I’m Hispanic and my parents work hard yet they still found time to learn a new langugage. When you come in a new country, you have to learn the ways of the people otherwise, you’re not adapting. Many other Hispanics who failed to do this are lazy and simply not interested in learning English. I know this because I know many of them! I’m not happy about this debate. What do Democrats hope to achieve by this? This debate shows how condescending they are and how little they think of Hispanics.
