Online Italian Translation To English

Online Italian Translation To English

If you’re determined to learn Italian from a beginner level, please read on, here is some of my experience I want to share and I think you ‘ll find it useful.

There’re simply two ways of learning a new language, following a teacher or self-learning with an online course. If you have time limitation or a tight budget, I strongly recommend you to choose an online course. The course I’ve been using is called Rocket Italian with which I’ve achieved very satisfying results.

Right after I worked with Rocket Italian, I started using Italian when ordering food, greeting friends and even talking in simple words very quickly and confidently. In the whole package at only $100, I find the 33 audio lessons most helpful. They’re so delicately designed, that I was lead to penetrate the surface of learning a new language without usual difficulties and hassles. These 33 audios are purely conversationally based with one male and one female voices. The female one is by a native Italian called Maria, whose pronunciation is pleasant, crystal clear and easy to follow. I also noticed that the structure is quite smart because old words I learned from previous courses always reappear in latter ones which can effectively reinforce my memory and make me to revise. Every lesson is focusing on one topic which is extremely useful in daily life and I actually used a lot of sayings from a lesson “At the dinner table” at a Spanish friend’s and impressed them all. Rocket Italian also provides a grammar and culture lesson attached with each audio lesson which I think especially useful for those who are determined to take it to an advanced level.

Get FREE 6-Day Italian Course!

The two games MegaAudio and MegaVocab also made the whole learning journey full of fun and entertaining. MegaAudio is to help you with understanding the spoken words by giving 6 pictures and an Italian word so that you can select one from the 6. MegaVocab has a database of about 1000 words. You need to select the Italian word from the 4 options to match the given picture. Remembering new words is always the most boring and difficult part in learning a new language. MegaVocab managed to relieve me from all of that.

Make sure you try the 6-day trial course before purchasing the product to find out whether this online program suits you, which from my perspective will, especially when you don’t have any experience in Italian. To say the least, even if you’re not entirely satisfied with this program, the Refunding Policy until 60 days’ use can eliminate your last hesitation.

Most Frequent Obstacles When You Are Learning English

Out of all of the languages there are in the world, English is one of the most difficult to learn. There are many reasons why English learners have such a difficult time learning the language.

The following lists the most frequent obstacles when you are learning English:

1. Motivational Obstacles: There may be external reasons why someone may not want to learn or enjoy learning the English language. This can include: school conditions, job reasons, other activities taking up too much time, bored with the method of instruction, and a lack of an adequate support system. As well, many learners have low self esteem. They develop such self defeating thoughts as I can’t learn, I am stupid, I am wasting my time, and I am too old to learn.

2. Organization Obstacles: Teaching methods and learning materials are not adequate. A learner may also not know what they should study to learn English.

3. Unreasonable Expectations: Some learners go into an English learning program expecting to pick up the language quickly. They become frustrated and begin to lose interest.

4. Method of Learning: Many students do not take advantage of new and innovative methods of learning. Instead of reading texts and doing writing exercises, learners now have a wealth of learning resources on the internet as well as electronic learning devices that allow them to learn anywhere and anytime. There are also chat rooms that allow English learners to meet and chat with other online English learners. One can also enlist the services of an online English language teacher.

5. Pronunciation: Some learners find the English language difficult because the pronunciation can vary depending on how it is being used. For instance, some letters are silent and other letters are pronounced several different ways. Consonant and vowel sounds can also vary such as the words ‘the’ and ‘thought.’ The differences in pronunciation can be frustrating to learn.

6. Grammar: Nouns, adjectives, and adverbs can be very confusing to an English learner because they are different than most other languages. There is no specific order to grammar in the English language. Understanding the various sentence structures and when to use them can take some time to learn.

7. Verb Tense: The English language has a broad connotation of verb tense which makes it difficult to learn. For instance, verb tenses such as ring, rang, and rung, can be complex to the new English learner.

8. English Slang: The English language contains a lot of slang which becomes mixed with regular English phrases. This requires the English learner to understand all of the jargon which can be complicated. An example of English slang is the phrase: ‘brain wash.’

Because the English language is one of the most widely spoken languages, learning the Language has many benefits for one personally, socially, and in the work place. It is important to seek out the new, creative, and fun, methods of learning English. The result will be immense satisfaction once you have conquered the language.

Technology Helps You Learn Basic Spanish

As anyone who has learned another language, other than their native tongue will tell you, attaining a level of fluency can be difficult indeed. Of course, the older you get the harder it becomes. Children who are brought up in bilingual homes think nothing of speaking several languages. And when language is taught in school, smaller children literally absorb the lessons; language comes easier for children than it does for adults who often need a multitude of supplemental tools in order to help them with the transition. Because Spanish is one of the most popular languages to be learned in the modern world, many adults look to find easier ways to seek fluency; and if not fluency, then just the fundamentals.. Luckily, in today’s technologically advanced world, there are a variety of tools that consumers can use to learn basic Spanish.

First and foremost, there still exists the bevy of printed material designed to help you learn basic Spanish. These include dictionaries that translate a word from English into Spanish and vice versa. Most are pocket-sized and can be carried with you to a Spanish Speaking country where you use it when necessary. There are also a variety of word books that help you learn fundamentals very easily with the help of pictures and quiz cards.

But the modern day equivalent of these learning tools is of course the CD and DVD. CDs are quite convenient as they can be popped into your CD player while you are in the car, walking the dog, shopping, or doing any variety of activities. Most people find the audio to be quite helpful in their quest to learn basic Spanish, as it is helpful to hear how the word is pronounced.

DVDs offer classroom-like instruction in the comfort of your own home. Lessons are taught to learn basic Spanish through an instructor and a number of tools that would ordinarily be used in the classroom. DVDs are helpful because you can simply watch them over and over again to absorb lessons at your own pace.

But perhaps the greatest technological advancement to learn basic Spanish is the electronic devices that you can now carry that help you translate on the spot. These devices include an audio dictionary. So if you type a word in English it will say it back to you in Spanish. This can be enormously helpful in those situations where you are stuck. Consumers who are not quiet confident in their Spanish speaking abilities find these devices to be their most important tool when visiting Spanish speaking countries.

Spanish Translation Booming: Benefits in Learning Spanish

Spanish translation companies nowadays are significantly increasing in number. Why? Because Spanish is a popular second or third language with more than 400 million speakers. Spanish is also one of the easiest foreign languages to learn because its vocabulary is almost similar to English’s and its written form is almost phonetic.

With Spanish being the fourth most commonly spoken language in the world, the Spanish translation industry is now one of the most sought after language translation services in the world. In fact, Spanish is an official language on four continents, aside from English and French.

There are a lot of other reasons in learning Spanish. The booming of Spanish translation agencies proves the innumerable benefits that Learning Spanish Language brings. Here are some:

• Understanding culture

Learning to speak Spanish is being acquainted with the Spanish Culture as well. Spanish language has rich literature, traditions and culture (both modern and traditional) to offer. Understanding the native tongue of one’s country is always a big leap towards making their culture one’s own. Language is the main stream of a culture, that’s why learning a language and appreciating one’s culture always come as a package deal.

• Better understanding of the English language

Both the Spanish and English languages are of shared Indo-European roots, so the basic rules in grammars are similar. Through Spanish translation companies nowadays, Spanish Learning becomes an effective way to learn the English grammar. Studying the grammar of the Spanish language, leads to better comprehension of how English language is structured. Learning how the verbs are used in Spanish helps one to gain a more sophisticated grasp of the English verbs, tenses and moods. Spanish have been a great means in understanding the complexities of the English language.

• Travelling convenience

Because Spanish is a widely spoken language, knowing to speak Spanish definitely helps in travelling to different countries. Not only that it helps a foreigner to get-by with the natives, it also opens a venue for interaction and meeting diverse people. No wonder Spanish translation agencies are also spread worldwide.

• Learning more languages

Understanding Spanish also opens the door for learning other foreign languages such as French, Italian, and other Latin-based languages. Spanish is also associated with German and Russians through their Indo-European roots. These languages have several characteristics that are present in Spanish but not in English.

The significant increase of Spanish translation services nowadays best illustrates the growing need in learning the Spanish language. Learning other foreign languages, not only Spanish enables genuine appreciation of culture diversity.

What is a healing: simple explanation

What is a healing? (part I)

Last mothers day, a friend came home. She saw a beautiful bouquet of flowers in a vase and asked if they were from my husband. They were not; I explained to her that they were from a friend in England that sent them to me as a thank – you for a distance healing. I think the friend that was visiting trusts my judgment, in general, and she has an open mind about healings, more because she thinks I am a lovely and trustworthily person, than because of natural inclination to new ideas in science. Anyway, the sole idea of a distance healing is far beyond what she is ready to believe. When I saw her face, it struck me. It was torn between been very sweet and polite, not wanting to hurt my feelings, and thinking I am completely crazy.

Right there and then was when I totally realize that it is really difficult to understand a new concept, if we are using our same old mindset. In other words, is like trying to find the meaning of a Spanish sentence in a Chinese – English translator. It’s just no possible. In my friends mind, she was comparing a visit to the doctor to whatever is that I possibly do eight thousands miles away from my client. And, honestly, looking at it that way, even I can agree with her. It sounds crazy to say the least. Well, this is good because now, I know where to start. We are in the same page. From here, if you follow me, I will try to take you by the hand to see other possibilities, and to understand a different point of view of human life. It will be like moving to a new city; one that was always there but we never visited before. We don’t need to forget the old one or think about moving; we don’t need to compare them. Just explore it with an open mind, and enjoy the visit.

Quantum city.

The first thing that healers usually say is that we are energy, so let’s see what do we mean by that. Why do we say that we are energy, that everything is energy? Our perception usually tells us that we are matter. In fact, we are quite solid matter. And that is an indisputable truth. Or not?

OK, let’s start by the name. What in earth is a quantum? The easiest definition I found is this:

Quantum The smallest physically realizable unit of something. (1)

Many of us remember our science lessons in school years ago. As far as we know, the smallest possible part of matter was an atom. An atom was made of a nucleus (protons and neutrons particles) and electrons around.

Now, imagine that we get even closer and we make that model bigger. What we will see is a huge amount of empty space. How empty? Visualize this: if the nucleus of the atom was a watermelon, the electron around it will be 20 miles away. But all that empty space is not empty at all. It is full of ENERGY. By the way, this space full of energy is what they call Zero Point Energy. Scientist and inventors since long ago (Nicola Tesla, for example) have been trying to find a way to tap into that energy, or control it, as it will be free and unlimited for everybody. But this is another chapter. Going back to our new model for an atom, we can see that is basically a big empty space full of incredibly huge amounts of energy, with tiny electrons moving around the nucleus.

Our perception if we were looking at a picture of it, will be just an empty space because what is there is just a possibility of an electron been in a specific point at a specific moment.

The way these electrons move is different from any other “object” that we know before. They “disappear” from one point in the orbit and “appear” in another, so they form like a cloud. The reason for it is the speed at which they move. They do it instantly. Imagine a particle moving around yourself so fast, that you cannot see the particle, but if you could see the movement, you will see a little trace around you. That trace will not be solid, as it is made of the probability of the particle being there in a specific moment. That cloud behaves and has properties like a wave (not like a particle). Solid matter, then, can be defined as a particle (solid) and as an immaterial force field or wave (energy).

At this level, the physics laws that explain our world so well, stop working. At subatomic level, we are not talking about solid measurable matter anymore. We need a different set of laws that can explain or predict this reality in a smaller than microscopic realm. And that is what we called quantum theory or quantum mechanics. They don’t substitute traditional or Newtonian laws, they just study our world where Newtonian laws can’t apply.

We could keep looking at interesting proprieties of quantum mechanics, but for now, I just wanted to set up the bases for understanding the first important truth that I want to share:

WE ARE ENERGY.

Our world is not as solid as we always thought it was. Everything, from a sugar crystal to a human being, IS energy. We are subject to Newtonian laws, but ALSO, at some levels, we are subject to quantum mechanics (2), and, until now, we were just not familiar with them.

The sound system I’ve seen churches use for translators?

I’ve been in churches that use some sort of sound electronic device that allows a person to translate English to Spanish (for example) into some sort of sound system, which then can transmit to some wireless headphones. So those that only speak Spanish can understand the speaker as they wear and turn on the headphones. What is the name of this system? Where can I find more information on it?

You can get any assisted listening system and use it as a translation system. All you need to do is have the translator in a separate room with an audio feed from your sound system. Headphones would probably work best for that person. Then you have a mic connected to a small mixer and the output of the mixer feeds the transmitter unit. The receivers are worn by those who need translation. It is actually a pretty easy hookup. If you need more help, e-mail me at dankeifer@yahoo.com. I have set up many of these systems at churches.

Tips For An Effective Spanish Translation

There is an evident boom in the Hispanic market which is surely going to last for many decades to come. A targeted marketing strategy for Spanish translation can bring profitable returns only if you choose to apply some rules in your translation service business. Let us consider some facts, Hispanics form almost more than 15% of the total population of the US. And this percentage is growing five times faster than the normal population. If experts are to be believed, by 2020, one out of 5 Americans will be of Hispanic origin. This growth rate is making Hispanics more affluent and more than 64% form the middle class population. And Hispanics are also entering the cyberspace with over 14 million of US Hispanics online. But this growth rate is not fully tapped by the online players and the main hindrance in the process is their language.

Many business organizations assume Spanish as one-size-fits-all market. They fail to realise that there are many variants of the classical Spanish Language. If you are looking to target a particular Spanish Speaking audience, you should be clear as to which type of Spanish speaking group are they? After you have figured this out, you can accordingly choose a professional translation service agency to interpret/translate according to their specific lingo. If you want to put an exclusive Spanish web portal for your target audience, you need to specify the vernacular Spanish style to the translation agency before they design a Spanish website. A language represents the culture of a specific ethnic group. This is one of the foremost points that should be kept in mind while translating a certain language. If you miss out on the cultural connotation of the language, you will not be able to connect to the target market. To capture your target market, you don’t have to just translate, but you should also make some efforts to understand their culture as well.

For instance, the Spanish translation of a certain expression or phrase might carry different connotation to Mexican Spanish and to Cuban Spanish. Make sure that no ethnic group is offended by your usage of a certain expression that might be good for your target ethnic group, but has a tendency to infuriate the other group.

Btw, What Do These Cheese Acronyms Mean?

If you email or chat online with any frequency, you may have noticed a proliferation of acronyms being used. BTW (by the way), LOL (laugh out loud), OMG (oh my goodness) and WTF (what the f***) have found their way into our daily electronic communication. There is another set of acronyms you may want to become familiar with when shopping for gourmet cheese and fine wines – AOC, DPO and DO. And while it’s important to know what they mean, you will likely never need to say the words in their non-abbreviated form – unless of course, you want to show off your newfound foodie knowledge.

These cheese acronyms only apply to cheeses crafted in the Old World. The European Union (EU) has developed the “Protected Designation of Origin”- a culinary copyright, if you will. Only foods with PDO status are the authentic version. Strict rules govern production particular to the protected food and wine such as region, recipe and method. The countries of France, Italy and Spain have greater quantities of foods and wines that benefit from this labeling system and each have a different acronym reflecting the translation into their respective language.

Appellation d’Origine Controlee (AOC) is the French version of the EU’s PDO laws and governs foods such as gourmet cheese, chicken, lentils, honey, butter and fine wine. The genesis of the French food labeling laws was first applied to Roquefort in the 15th century when production was regulated by the French parliament. A few hundred years and and a few hundred cheeses later, only 40 cheeses are protected by the AOC label including our favorites – Brie de Meaux, Camembert de Normandie, Comte, Epoisses, and of course, Roquefort. To illustrate just how stringent these laws are, Roquefort can only be named as such provided that milk from particular herds of sheep is used, the cheese is aged in the natural Combalou caves of Roquefort-sur-Soulzon, France and must be injected with Penicillium roqueforti molds produced in the same cave.

To make matters confusing, Italy utilizes two acronyms to protect food and wine. Italian wines primarily use the Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) assignment while gourmet foods such as prosciutto de Parma, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, gourmet cheese and even San Marzano tomatoes use Denominazione di Origine Protetta (DOP). Gorgonzola, Parmigiano-Reggiano, Pecorino Romano and Fontina are just a few of the cheeses from assigned DOP status.

Spain regulates wine and food such as olive oil, jamon Serrano (cured ham), sherry vinegar, and gourmet cheese using Denominación de Origen (DO). A few Spanish DO cheeses you may be familiar with include Cabrales blue cheese, Manchego and Zamorano.

With all of the acronyms in your life, you may be wondering if you need to memorize more. Just knowing they exist and keeping an eye out for them may be enough to help you discover wonderful and exciting examples of traditional food and wine from these European countries. When shopping for gourmet foods and wines, look for these acronyms somewhere on the label. Whether you find the acronyms on gourmet cheese, fine wine or other specialty foods, you’ll feel confident knowing you are selecting a taste of quality, heritage, place and a sense of people. Like taking a trip without leaving home.

Spanish Help Please? NO Electronic Translators.?

In Spanish How Do You ….

Ask What Someone Will Order At A Resturant?
Explain What Locro Is?
Say That You Love Empanadas?
Ask A Waiter To Bring You Carne Colorada?
Say That Something Is Really Good?
Ask How Much The Bill Is?

¿Qué vas a ordenar? or ¿Qué va ordenar? ¿Que se va a servir?

About Locro: this is difficult because there are many dishes called “locro” in different countries, each one different to the other. I know an Ecuadorean locro, an Argentinian locro, and a Peruvian locro (locro de zapallo = pumpkin locro).

Me encantan las empanadas

Tráigame una orden de carne colorada.

Esto está verdaderamente sabroso

La cuenta, por favor. ¿Cuánto es?

EDIT
It seems even Dominicans have a type of locro. In my country, Peru, I think we have two different “locros”. Well, you can say it’s a kind of stew, made with corn, pumpkin, potatoes, beans, and some forme of meat (beef, jerky, chorizo). In my country it has no meat, but milk and cheese.
